The semi-finals were completed shortly before sunset this afternoon. Scores and standings appear below. The top-seven advance to tomorrow's Finals. The same best-Known round score from the preliminary rounds that was carried into today's semi-finals will also carry into the Finals. Tomorrow's schedule includes six rounds, two each of Unknown, Known and Freestyle.

We're half-way through the semi-finals, with one Unknown and one Freestyle complete. Results are below.

The freestyles have been building in intensity since Wednesday. Mike Caglia pushed it a bit too far this morning and cart-wheeled his Extra 260 through the bushes. He and his team quickly prepared his back-up. He's ready to go again with the same Extra 300L he flew here two years ago.

The weather is pleasant, almost cool, with just enough wind to require some wind-correction.

We'll have the day's results, including who will advance to the finals, once the day's scores are made available. Awards for 8th through 21st will be presented at noon tomorrow, not today as we previously announced for 14th through 21st.

Today is the semi-finals, with only the top-seven advancing to tomorrow's finals. The rounds today will be two Unknowns and two Freestyles. There is no Known round today. The first Unknown is in progress now. We will update scores after the first Freestyle.
